Norman G. Holmes was president of Southern Region Pipelines for Kinder Morgan Inc. from January 2010 until his retirement in January 2020. Before becoming president at Kinder Morgan, Mr. Holmes served as senior vice president and chief commercial officer, vice president of business development, and vice president and controller.

As head of the internal audit group, he worked extensively with the audit committee and board reviewing company control procedures, risk analysis and financial reporting.

Mr. Holmes has more than 40 years of experience in the natural gas pipeline industry. He has served on the boards of the Southern Gas Association and Interstate Natural Gas Association of America. He also served on the State of Georgia’s LNG Advisory Committee.

Mr. Holmes received his Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville State University and is a certified public accountant.

Mr. Holmes has been a director of Southern Company Gas since October 2020.
